For as long as I can remember I’ve been fascinated by things that move – and I’ve made a career out of understanding the data and opportunities movement can generate.A Venn diagram of my professional experiences would show I’ve spent more than 5 years in freight logistics, 3 years in big-data analytics, 2 years in strategy development, and 2 years in business development/sales. A map would show I’ve had the opportunity to work across the country with many diverse teams. And my journal would show I’ve enjoyed (nearly) all of it.I use a data-first approach to every logistics problem, and have had a direct positive impact on the KPIs and bottom line profit of more than 20 major terminals and production facilities across the United States – including a 15% reduction in servicing time to one of the largest integrated refineries in North America.In past roles I’ve managed a nationwide mobile storage network responsible for over 1-billion pounds of plastic, directed business development efforts for a multi-million dollar railpark, supported the development and connection of 6 new rail-served industry sites, and operated a eco-dive resort on the ends of the earth.When not working I can be found watching classics my Fiancée, enjoying my collection of headphones, or crunching NFL injury data in a fruitless attempt to improve my fantasy draft.
