Key Functions included :-Recruitment - Dimensioning of New Teams; Role Definition / Identification and Appointment Internal and External Senior Stakeholder Management & Reporting Process Definition SLA Definition Processing of high volumes of Customer Demand Requests (over 5000 site instructions) Overseeing and supporting key business start up Procurement activities including :-ERP SystemPayrollRecruitment Services HR Systems Expenses Overseeing and supporting key Operational Procurement activities including :-Acquisition Design and Construction for large volume telecommunications rollout Definition of Framework Agreements Ancillary Procurement Support (e.g DC Power; Quality Audits) Contract Novation Activity Developing Procurement Capabilities within new team to achieve best practice and continuous improvement

Responsible for creation of Supplier Management Governance Model to maximise efficiencies and develop Partnering Relationships with Suppliers during high volume phase delivery. Establish collaborative and goal sharing approach with Suppliers to develop and deliver joint accountability and targetsPrimary contact with Customer Procurement Teams to support Acquisition Design and Construction procurement activities - including effective interface with internal stakeholders and contract support Programme lead on site consolidation trial to define strategy; scope and reporting governance to achieve target OpEx cost avoidance objectives

Responsible for developing and implementing a Sustainable Estates Strategy for operational portfolios of Telefonica and Vodafone in the UK. Combined operational asset base of circa 26,000 sites Key emphasis in achieving OPEX Budget Savings (excess of £10m saved in 2010) Support inter Company OPEX Strategy within Telefonica Operating Business to establish international best practices
