Since April of 2013, I have been working for TN Marketing in Plymouth, Minnesota. Originally hired to help the company's transition from its legacy DVD membership program to a subscription-based streaming video platform, I have been involved with the company's growth to 15 different websites. Prior to that, I spent nine years in the newsroom of Minneapolis-St. Paul's NBC affiliate, KARE-TV. I was a diligent multi-tasker in a high-stress environment. During my time there, I produced news and sports segments as well as 30-minute shows and specials for KARE 11 News on the air, maintained multiple websites with breaking news, sports stories and weather updates, and managed various social media accounts for KARE 11.As a co-founder of The 12 Foundation, I helped raise thousands of dollars to benefit different local Twin Cities charities. I used a combination of social media marketing and traditional PR strategies to promote awareness and increase attendance at events each year (approximately 1,000 people in 2011), in addition to expanding my event planning experience.I am a strong communicator with a broad digital background. I have experience in traditional marketing, social media and digital marketing, even planning and public speaking. I am a dedicated team player who understands the importance of organization, multi-tasking and time management. I am an independent thinker, a creative problem-solver and a motivated professional who is constantly looking to improve my skills.
