As a dedicated student volunteer, I have contributed to Riverwood Community Centre and Punchbowl Community Centre, gaining valuable experience working with diverse age groups and participating in various programs. During my time at these centres, I directly engaged in programs such as "Circle of Security Parenting," "How It Feels," and "Youth Drop-In."I also played a key role in managing and executing a one-day workshop, "Cupcake Decorating" and "Crochet Class," from initial shopping to final DEX updates. My responsibilities included creating canvas templates for social media, filling out client forms, contacting clients, updating client data on DEX, conducting pre- and post-satisfaction surveys and feedback, and ensuring all program-related updates were efficiently managed in the systems.This hands-on experience has strengthened my organizational, communication, and client management skills, preparing me for future roles in community service and beyond.
