Developing mobile application for Premera.

June 2013 – Present I am working in scrum TDD environment as a Member of the SOA team. SOA team is responsible for creating enterprise level reusable services. For example, we created service to get enrollment data from the Washington health exchange to Premera’s system. Same services were reused to get the data from the Oregon and Alaska health exchanges too. Responsibilities: • I was responsible for the design and development of:  Sending enrollment status back to the Oregon health exchange in real-time,  Multiple services which are responsible for enrolling the person in Premera system based on health exchange data,  Error service which gathers error data from other services, like enrollment services, through service bus, and puts the error data into the database,  Worked on the Biztalk mapping and pipeline components which gets data in proprietary formats from health exchanges and maps it into internal canonical format. • I am responsible for the design and development of entity services for enterprise wide use. For example, I designed and developed member service which returns data at the member granularity, and creates the member record in the database. These services implement X509 security. • In SOA team, I have also played the part of gathering requirements, release manager (for code deployment), production support, mentoring of new team members, and cross-team coordination

I was working on the PACS project. PACS stand for picture archiving and communication system. This team was developing services for communicating with different hospital imaging systems, archiving image data and to communicate with the application to view data. This team was also developing a application to view all the image data. Responsibilities:• Worked on development of a picture archiving and communication system. I designed and developed viewer application, in which you can view Ultra sound, MRI, Cath and Echo images. I designed and developed services, which got images and data from the archiving system.• Developed WCF endpoints, Contracts .• Applied SSl to WCF endpoints.

Designed and developed a .net utility to generate SSRS reports. This utility has the capability of generating SQL script. It also generates and updates the Report Definition File (XML representation of a SQL Server Reporting Services report definition).Module development for Statistical Data Analysis Application:SSRS report development: Designed and developed a number of SSRS reporting module, using Intense SQl scripting.Developed SQl views and functions.Database conversions: Converted a number of client databases into the database format used by Apollo application.Form and Database development: Developed a number of modules for the Apollo application. This is an application which keeps a log of any object at home in any room at any place using a SQL database. All Connections, Tables, Data Adapters and Data Sets are created with VB code using ADO.net. This has functionality of select, edit, delete and update data from SQL database with one to many relationships. I used SQL queries in the code to implement the functionality.I also implemented the same functionality using C#. Environment: Windows XP, VB.net, C#, MS SQL server 2005, Visual Studio 2005.; On line Loan application system. Summary and Role: Designed, developed and tested the on line loan application system. To achieve this I made a web form which stored data in a XML file in the form of new Loan application node and all the information in form of attributes. This XML data could be displayed in another form using data source control. I used C# for the application Environment: Windows XP, C# , Visual studio.net.

Front End Application for clinical trial Data. Summary and Role: Designed, developed and tested the Front end application using Visual Basic for Clinical trial data. This has functionality of select, edit, delete and update data from SQL database. I used SQL queries in the code to implement the functionality.Other responsibilities were research based lab work. Environment: Windows XP, Visual Basic 6.0, MS SQL server 2000 , Visual Studio 6.0.
