At Tata Lockheed Martin, I served as a Buyer, where I was responsible for comprehensive source-to-pay and procure-to-pay activities, ensuring the seamless release of purchase orders through to payment. My role involved managing projects that required floating Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFXs), as well as conducting daily negotiations and bidding with vendors for indirect commodities. Additionally, I managed contracts for direct commodities, releasing purchase orders in alignment with production requirements.I also played a pivotal role in supporting the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S4 HANA. In this capacity, I evolved from an end user to a super user, contributing to the development, configuration, and implementation of SAP processes to optimise system efficiency and integration.
