Outbound Forklift Operator - After a driver picks up freight from a supplier, they park the trailer at our dock then pick up a full outbound delivery truck and return with a second supplier pick-up, each day.We are responsible for emptying supplier trailers of freight, re-weighing each pallet or loose box, then dimensioning all freight with an overhead 3D scanner (DIM Machine) that exactly measures how much cubic space an order uses. The final step is loading customer deliveries on the outbound trailer headed to its respective next docking station. Since each piece of freight is marked by a unique PRO# barcode, we use handheld scanners for transferring information from trailer to trailer. Additionally, if any item is more than 96 inches long, it's qualified as "extreme freight" and will not fit under our DIM machine so it must be hand-measured.
