❖ I have been knowledge about Earth Pressure Balanced Machine (EPBM) TBM. ❖ TBM COMMISSIONING -Oversee the setup and commissioning of TBM ‘s (Mainly 2 TBM’s) ensuring proper installation and calibration of equipment, as well as testing of essential system before tunneling begins.❖ CUTTERHEAD MONITORING – Continuously monitor the cutterhead performance, analyze data on excavation rates, wear and tear of cutting tools and cutter head balance to optimize cutting efficiency.❖ SOIL CONDITION - Implement soil conditioning techniques including foam injection or polymer injection to facilitate smooth excavation and minimize soil settlement with the tunnel.❖ SEGMENTS INSTALLATION - Ensuring proper alignment and adequate grouting to create a stable and structurally sound tunnel. Kept a close check on Step, Lip and Internal profile.❖ SAFETY PROTOCOLS - Enforce strict safety protocols for TBM operators and personnel working around the TBM. Conducted safety audits and ensured adherence to safety standards.❖ EMERGENCY RESPONSE - Develop comprehensive emergency response plans for potential TBM- related incidents including fire collapse or equipment malfunction.❖ TECHNICAL TROUBLESHOOTING - Lead technical troubleshooting efforts in case of TBM malfunctions or operational issues, working closely with the engineers and mechanics to diagnose problems and implement solutions.❖ DOWNTIME REDUCTION - Implement proactive maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime, ensuring continuous tunneling process.❖ QUALITY ASSURANCE - Ensure the construction of high-quality tunnels by closely inspecting tunnel lining installation, grouting and ensuring adherence to design specifications and project standards.❖ PROJECT REPORTING - Generate regular progress reports detailing TBM activities(Detailed Shift reports) advancements challenges and solutions. Present updates to project stakeholders.
