Girl Child Education Promotional Scholarship (ABC…Scholarship)“A Better Community for All” working with Girl child belonging to marginalized community (Sc/St/Dalits, Minority, Below Poverty Line families) by one of Flagship Programme” Girl child Education Promotional Scholarship”. It’s a monthly scholarship which is given to girl child studying between classes one to five belonging to above mentioned community up to class 12th. As name indicates, it’s a girl child education promotional scholarship which keeps supporting & Motivating to girl child as well as family members to keep continue their girl child education. We select the girl child after examine the recommendation received from Government school Head Master, Sarpanch, and other person from particular Block in which kids are living, this participatory involvement bring ownership into different stakeholders of community. Apart from “Girl Child Education Promotional Scholarship” initiative, we work with Parents of kids within same locality with “Parent Mentoring”. It’s a once in every third Month Workshops to sensitize parents about girl child education, health, child labour and their roles and opportunities. The parents of girl child who are linked with the program once get opportunity to get outside exposer with girl child to get the milestone set by women in different sector where they got opportunity to interact with girls who has set an example in different sectors.Parameters for selecting the Girl Child: 1. Priority will be given to kids of Differently able families from weaker economical section of society.(Special attention to SC/ST/ BPL)2. Girl child must be belonging to Dalits/SC/ST/Minority BPL family.3. Girls must be enrolled in government school. She must be studying in class between one to five.4. Girl child must not be beneficiary of any other government or non-government scholarship/Assistance.5. One girl child from one family.
