My favorite quote from Alexander the Great is: “You shall … find a way to the top if you diligently seek for it; for nature has placed nothing so high that it is out of the reach of industry and valor.”Over the last 20 years, I have pursued the dream of reaching to “top”, knowing that it lies within and is really without a limit. Every few years I have transformed myself in this pursuit. I have run P&Ls, helped develop new geographies for the companies I have joined, led large accounts as a client partner (~$275m) and been a chief operating partner in a start up that breached a value of $250m in less than a decade. My journeys, big and small, have now led me in BORN, a world-class, award winning digital agency focused on experience management and enterprise commerce. The company combines many specialisms to produce stunning brand experiences across 15 channels. As a pioneering management member, I have played an instrumental role in building this company into the formidable brand it is - 500% growth, expansion into Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and deals across 7 countries. Not small feat that is highly recognized all over the world and award winning. BORN, arguably, is now the largest independent agency in the world. On occasion, I advise companies as a digital transformation advisor. I am also part-time faculty for RK Mutt to empower young minds, mentoring companies in the IIT Madras start-up eco-system. I am widely traveled and networked across Japan, South-East Asia, ANZ, MENA, India, North America and Europe. I am somewhat expert on south Asian mythology and the parables they offer people like us. Even as I push myself to discovering my way to the “top” I find pleasure in exploring cultures, meeting diverse people and being the citizen God meant us all to be – a global and humane one. I am exploring how to help special needs children and be a better coach amongst many other things. In short, my transformation continues.
