I advise on the legal & contractual aspects of buying, selling, using, and exploiting all types of technology – software, hardware, data, and related services – e.g. software licensing, data licensing, SaaS and hosting arrangements, development projects, implementation projects, outsourcing deals.I’ve worked in industry having had in-house legal roles at Dell, Business Objects (now SAP), and more recently as the interim General Counsel of digital challenger bank Tandem Money.I’ve been advising on FinTech arrangements since I started my legal career, and co-head Shoosmiths’ FinTech offering (https://www.shoosmiths.com/expertise/services/commercial-services/fintech). In addition to supporting financial services businesses on procuring FinTech solutions, I work closely with new entrants in the FinTech space, helping them to navigate FinTech issues and successfully implement their offerings.I also lead Shoosmiths’ Blockchain & Digital Assets sub-sector (https://www.shoosmiths.com/expertise/sectors/technology/blockchain-and-digital-assets), and am a member of the Shoosmiths’ Technology Sector Executive team.
