I'm a recent UBC MBA graduate with close to 6 years of experience in technology consulting. I have led complex IT Risk Assurance and advisory engagements for multinational clients in the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunication) sector. I have successfully guided client organizations in enhancing their cyber security posture in accordance with frameworks such as AICPA's SOC 1 & SOC 2 as well as ISO 27001 standard for effective information security management systems.Throughout my audit and advisory engagements, I have placed particular emphasis on understanding the underlying assumptions and limitations influencing the actions taken by organizations across its people, process and technology pillars. By delivering impactful and lasting solutions derived from a risk-based approach to auditing and advisory, I have ensured that my team's recommendations align with the client organization's information security goals and objectives with measurable metrics and clear management oversight.My MBA journey, helped me develop knowledge and techniques to drive change sustainably from a strategic and financial perspective. I have also seen that organizations want changes to be incremental and cost-effective in order to minimize the risk of failure. From a cybersecurity perspective, it is also crucial that these changes are not cumbersome on user experience and are not complex to understand and follow. I would like to delve deeper into these business strategy, digital transformation and performance improvement problems and help companies navigate the uncertainty.Outside of work, I am passionate about travelling, hiking and photography. I also spend considerable amount of my free time cycling and playing football.
