My role is to incubate the Magic Bus India programme in other corners of the world. We plan to take the core methodology that has been proven to work in India, to other countries where under privileged children and youth may benefit from it. We will set up new country chapters from scratch from registration all the way to having full fledged operations in.

• I joined Magic Bus in October 2009 as Chief Operating Officer responsible for taking the Sport for Development programme in Mumbai across the country. I was responsible for conceptualizing a new scalable and replicable.

I was responsible for the successful implementation of PSI’s programs nationally. I provided strategic directions across health issues that PSI deals with – Reproductive and Child Health, HIV/AIDS, Malaria and social marketing of products and services. I was specifically leading a $78 million five-year maternal health programme called the Women’s Health.

I was leading a project that worked with various stakeholders, for prevention of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS targeted at young people. The project also dealt with women who have been affected and afflicted by drug use and HIV in their families.
