In preparation for my senior thesis in Neuroscience, I assisted in the Kennedy Lab at Bates College by collecting, analyzing and presenting behavioral data in the form of a year-long thesis. This work allowed me to gain experience with behavioral memory paradigms, as well as to learn about the role of epigenetics in memory consolidation and recall.

As a content tutor within the academic resource commons (ARC) at Bates, I supported other students as they worked through the content of introductory biology, neuroscience, and organic chemistry courses.

Lewiston/Auburn, Maine Area

During my second summer assisting in the Bavis respiratory physiology lab within the Bates Biology Department, I collected, analyzed and presented animal respiratory data in order to answer research questions about mammalian respiratory development.

I assisted in providing support for students, answering questions and grading assignments for one lab section each semester- first within an introductory chemistry course, and then within an introductory biology course.

As a research assistant in the Bavis lab at Bates College, I collected, analyzed and presented biological data in order to investigate early respiratory development in vertebrates.
