Pravin Pathak, Quality head for Bosch Nasik Plant, joined Bosch in 1990, after completion of his bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Government college of Engineering Pune. He has done his MBA in materials management from Pune University. (J D C Bytco Institute)As Plant Quality head for Bosch Nasik plant he is responsible for Quality management and methods since Jan 2020. He is responsible for driving continuous improvement for achieving Zero defect strategy of Bosch Nasik Plant.Prior to this assignment, He was Project leader for the change Initiative Industry 4.0 and responsible for IT and Innovation in manufacturing at Bosch limited located at Bangalore Bosch corporate office. As a project leader for the Project Industry 4.0 at Bosch, he was responsible for implementing this project across all Business units and across 16 manufacturing Bosch plants in India. He brings synergy and networking between the solution providers, International production network and plants in India in implementing Bosch Dual strategy for connected Industry. In this position he was reporting to Bosch Board in India.During his 32 years career with Bosch, he has held various global responsibilities especially in manufacturing.He is a trained six sigma black belt with award winning six sigma projects.He has worked in Bosch Bamberg in Germany for 3 years. He worked in Simultaneous Engineering team and contributed significantly with Transfer projects from across globe to Bosch India.Before taking over the responsibility of the project Industry 4.0 , he was one of the key member in developing and implementing Bosch manufacturing strategy for common rail Injector manufacturing with machines manufactured in India which are automated with Robots or Gantry. He brought significant improvement in OEE and productivity through automation.He has wide variety of interest – chief amongst them is bicycling.
