Support all aspects of Octo’s global support team by interacting directly with Octo’s customers and/or insurance partners. This position’s primary goal ensures that we not only meet, but exceed all implemented support metrics. This is accomplished by performing all basic responsibilities/duties on a daily basis and by identifying areas of improvement in this quickly expanding category. Among those duties are: answering 50-70 phone calls daily to provide tech support to consumers, document phone calls effectively, respond to gmails in a timely manner, handle complaints with minimal assistance, provide training for new employees, create training guides for new employees, and provide a high level of problem solving skills.

Assisted with providing top quality customer service, checking in shipment and vendors, securing funds in the safe and register, conducting Loss Prevention Observations, Loss Investigations and Near Loss Investigations.

Opened and closed the facility according to the procedures established, addressed unsafe conditions, directed calls and questions to the correct department, set up equipment promptly for classes, resolved any issues with reserved and free space between members and class holders, organized count sheets by date and entered data in the (EMS) scheduling software. This job required extensive problem solving skills.

Assisted students and staff members with billing inquiries, printed out ID cards for students and staff and charged it to their accounts, responsible for replying to staff and student emails, set up appointments for groups of 30+ on Microsoft Outlook, created files on excel to manage the amount of ID cards requested from staff and students in order to charge them, managed inventory of supplies, trained new student workers, responsible for resolving complicated situations.

Assisted with making copies, creating files on excel, prepared folders for conferences, and set up appointments.

Assisted with supervising children at a middle school, set up equipment for events at the school, and managed check in and out visitor log at the school.
