As the Executive Administrator at JDS I had a flexible position where I did everything from clerical tasks to market research, social media development, resident services, event planning and more. JDS Companies is an investment firm comprised of over 40 entities ranging from commercial and residential real estate to car dealerships and investment opportunities. CITYSPACE is the real estate entity that owns and manages commercial buildings all over Columbus as well as residential complexes. I handled the scheduling/calendar, travel itineraries, monthly expense reports, file management and other clerical tasks. I redesigned all of the residential websites for appearance and for SEO traffic growth and managed them along with building a social media platform for the company and its' entities. I was involved in their marketing strategy, photography, leasing, brand awareness, advertising, resident orientation information and events!

My position at The Gathering Place Polaris, which is a very successful childcare center, was actually created for me after I was there for a little over a year. I began as an assistant teacher who switched classrooms every hour to relieve other teachers for lunch breaks and eventually worked in a toddler room. I was asked to help out in the office when the growth of the center was too overwhelming for the staff and used my organizational skills to transform their paperwork system which is critically regulated by the state. As Center Assistant I gave tours to parents, orientation for new teachers, collected and kept track of all required paperwork for children and educators as well as scheduling continuing education. I worked on their marketing, developed and updated social media sites, planned their school age summer camp program and much more. Through this job I developed exceptional organizational, customer service, and problem solving skills that I believe to be invaluable in any work environment.
