Chula League is a small non-profit that supports the visual arts and arts education in East Austin. My primary objective was to assist with grant writing. I successfully secured Chula League's first large operations grant in 2014. I also provided daily operations management, created virtual office systems, recruited board members, organized and managed board meetings and assisted with key partnership and sponsor/donor development. As part of the marketing & social media committees, I developed and implemented social media campaigns for the Little Artist BIG ARTIST program and assisted with social media implementation and planning for the Cherrywood Art Fair. I developed content for all newsletters, web content, and blog posts and served on the website redesign team.

Highlights are below.>> Program management: Served as CME Project Manager from Jan. 2012 to Jan. 2014. The CME team specialized in EDI and ETL processes between internal ERP systems, major trading partners and customers. We were primarily responsible for order process design and implementation projects that reduced order entry errors, product configuration errors and pushed order data and basic artwork directly to the correct print stations in manufacturing facilities. Overall, we reduced order turn around times by 1-3 days for 75% of Norwood Bic Graphic imprinted products. >> Business/IT Analyst: Directly responsible for management and build of 25+ Calendar Coop websites. I used various Content Management Systems to build custom calendar configuration websites. Toolset: Photoshop (image prep), basic HTML, basic Jason/JEdit, FTP, TOAD. As team lead for EDI and ETL projects, routinely reviewed customer EDI requirements, created specification documents for development team, tested customer documents and analyzed data errors or issues. >> Project Management: Served as Project Manager for all Norwood's EDI or ETL projects. Responsible for project specification, development coordination, scheduling, launch and maintenance for multiple initiatives. Together, we developed business and project processes that helped streamline the client on-boarding process. I also managed eBlox's largest account (norwood.com) throughout my tenure. norwood.com was one of the first major websites in the promotional products industry and won multiple PPAI awards. As part of the product configurator team, I helped define product configuration requirements that resulted in one of the first web-based promotional products configurators in the industry.>> Production Manager: I streamlined development & production processes by cross training content management specialists to do basic image prep and website set up. This ensured that content specialists were fully utilized, reduced the time to build websites and increased capacity by eliminating bottlenecks in the design and development teams. I was responsible for capacity planning, resource planning and participated as a product strategy team member.
