Assistant Manager - Product & Market Research Team
CurrentTeam background - Product & Market Research team is responsible for conducting market and competitor analysis on the asset management industry which is utilized across Fidelity International. The team is spread across London, India and Hong Kong location.Responsibilities:1. Collaborating with distribution team, portfolio managers, investment directors and product development teams across Fidelity in raising and defending assets by helping to position Fidelity Funds ( equity, fixed income and multi assets) in client portfolios.2. Maintaining current suite of reports that act as a first port of call for competitor analysis and are used across the business such as quarterly competitor baseline slides, QFR and QSR pages, local competitor matrices, industry trend analysis, ESG dashboards and fund flow reports.3. Competitor displacement analysis - Conducting detailed analysis on fund specific analysis such as holdings and returns based assessment of Fidelity Funds vs. competitor funds using a range of third party tools i.e., Morningstar, Broadridge, Evestment, MSCI ESG research, Bloomberg, I money mint, Factset, Thomsom Reuters.4. Provide market insights which feeds into all parts of the product lifecycle.5. Create fund positioning stories for marketing/sales and investment directors to help raise assets.6. Provide competitor analysis for the investment team to help understand and position funds against peers.7. Industry analysis - Analyze and communicate Fidelity's market share and fund flow vs competitors.
