Kansas Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in Kansas, providing salvaged, rescued and purchased food to more than 500 Hunger Relief Partners in 85 counties throughough the state.

Duties included: database development and maintenance; server deployment and maintenance; maintenance of the College's technology infrastructure in concert with the University's technology departments; instructional design and support; serving as a resource to the College and its administration; and serving as a member of the College's Technology Team. My work consistently placed me between those who produce various types of data and those who need to analyze and report that data. It was imperative that I understand the entire life cycle of the data, from creation through analysis, summary, reporting and archiving, what the data means to the different people involved, and their level of understanding. I had to understand how the data is collected, why it is collected, and how it aligns with internal, state, and national accreditation requirements for analysis and reporting. I was able to summarize it and explain it to faculty and administrators who are frequently not the same people who generated the data. I worked with and merged standardized testing data from national testing companies, assessments and rubrics generated and collected from the faculty, assignments submitted by students, and data stored in the University's central data systems. I coordinated with all those involved on how the data was best collected; I provided training and training materials to use the data collection systems; and I provided follow-up support after training.
