Joined Level 10 as a Principal Software Engineer and contributed code and expert guidance in a variety of areas including machine learning, software development best practices, graphics programming and crypto/blockchain technology.

Architected and built a number of application integrations for the Assemble product within the Autodesk BIM ecosystem. Delivered solution designs, architectural guidance, and full stack code on a number of initiatives.

On the original 2 person team that built the WebGL Assemble architectural model viewer from scratch. Spent the next few years on the viewer as the lead developer and implemented a number of industry leading features such as Visual Compare, which allowed customers to visually and instantly see all differences between architectural model versions in 3D (Javascript/C#/S3).Outside of the viewer, built many of the primary web client Javascript UI components using Backbone/Marionette/React/Redux. These were more than front end development, they were full stack efforts, from the Javascript/Typescript in the client to the backend server code in C# and database schema changes in SQL Server. I also performed product feature research, prototyping and experimentation including a WebVR based client front end for the model viewer. This led to getting asked by a customer to present and speak with them on the stage at the 2015 Enterprise Wearable Technology Summit about the challenges involved in moving architectural quality models to VR.+ Contributed articles to the corporate blog. Spent 5 years building the SQLsafe backup and restore product from initial beta to mature product. Worked extensively on the front end application (management console) and coded various back end components including integration between the backup and restore service with Tivoli Storage Manager. Eventually took over as lead developer (C#/SQL).Spent several years working on the SQL diagnostic manager team (SQLdm). Created a predictive analytics (machine learning) component including the initial design, the backend service and front end UI components. Built numerous desktop application views, and eventually led the team working on the integrated Newsfeed platform and mobile SQLdm application (C#/SQL/Javascript).Led the development of the SQLtoolbox (a multi product suite). Wrote the product specification, coordinated among the toolbox product developers, and coded the full application (C#).

Provided expert software design guidance on company business ventures.

Lead developer of several in-house software application projects (Javascript/HTML/CSS), the largest of which was the MyChart web based application to monitor the full spectrum of patient statistics (Javascript/HTML/CSS). Also served as resident SQL query performance tuning expert to analysts in all departments (SQL).

Initially started with Compaq prior to HP purchase.Initially hired as team member, but was promoted to lead developer of the Active Answers Solution Sizers (AASS). The AASS was a Java and C++ based framework for providing hardware recommendations optimized for customer application needs. This framework also included in-house logic design software used by internal teams around the globe to define and generate the Sizer for each teams area of application expertise.

Provided product development, sales, and marketing in this start-up educational software company.First to market with web based standardized test reporting and analytics software for Texas schools that targeted the battery of TPRI (Texas Primary Reading Inventory) and Tejas Lee assessments.SAAS software enabled school districts to record test results and create detailed progress reports at the student, classroom, school, and district levels in compliance with the "No Child Left Behind" program. A primary contributor of database design and optimization (MySQL), software implementation and architecture (Javascript/HTML/Jscript/CSS), and UX design. As a founder, also provided sales support (cold calling), marketing design (business cards, web site design) and in person customer demonstrations.

Worked on a number of projects, but most extensively on the Site Specific Electromagnetic Toolkit. Built the initial desktop application used to load and view 3D / 2D urban and topographical geometry, and used to visually set up the optimization solutions (for urban radio communication planning). This project was an MFC/C++ based application, which also required converting numerical optimization code to C and creating genetic optimization algorithms in Fortran (machine learning).Most fun project, though short lived, was a simulator designed to find bottlenecks during airplane emergency evacuations (MFC/C++).

Initially hired as sole programmer on a short term NASA contract for the Interim User Requirements Collection Web Tool for the International Space Station. This was a web based tool intended to be used to gather environmental requirements (power, temperature, etc) for experiments aboard the Space Station (Perl/HTML).Also provided maintenance of the Pre-Mission Stage application as part of the Integrated Systems and Testing Capability suite used for hardware stress testing Department of Defense ground based radar stations (Fortran, C and Ada).Also worked on various prototype efforts in various departments, and provided lectures on current (at the time) emerging web standards (Java/Javascript/HTML/Perl).
