- Structural Whole House Design including wall framing, floor trusses, roof trusses and estimating.- Calculate weights, volumes, and stress factors and their implications for technical aspects of designs.- Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations and construction projects.- Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.- Review and train other Structural Designers.- Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction.- Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations to obtain data required to revise drawings or resolve problems with production, design, or installation.- Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary. - Determine quality, cost, strength, and quantity of required materials. - Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities. - Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using CAD tools.- Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to maximize production operations.

Insured all regulations were being followed.- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in, or directly relevant to, a logistics activity.- Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure those needs are met.- Manage subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, developing performance specifications, and serving as liaisons between subcontractors and organizations. - Redesign the movement of goods to maximize value and minimize costs.- Explain proposed solutions to customers, management, or interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations. - Develop and implement technical project management tools, such as plans, schedules, and responsibility matrices.- Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities; such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations. - Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives. - Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees or customers.- Present information with a variety of instruction techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.- Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities for program effectiveness. - Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.- Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books, and magazine articles. - Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
