Rob Brown is a junior (graduating Fall 2025) at George Washington University, pursuing a B.A. in political science with minors in Spanish and music.Rob is passionate about helping real people, companies, and clients with pressing government affairs issues, researching and analyzing policies and legal developments to deliver timely, effective solutions. His experience in political strategy and engagement at the Democratic Attorneys General Association combined with providing comprehensive government affairs solutions, working with a wide variety of clients and partners across the political spectrum in various policy areas at K&L Gates and more narrowly within the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry at Cheniere Energy has paved the way for Rob to continue his studies and professional career.As a political science student at GW, Rob has taken an interest in studying various industry-relevant topics, including public, domestic, and foreign policy, domestic and international politics, leadership, and U.S. government functions. Some highlights of his extracurricular involvement include his induction into the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity’s honor society, the Society of Scholars in January 2023, and his membership in Kappa Omega Alpha Public Policy Society since September 2024. Rob serves on the executive board of Sigma Alpha Epsilon - Washington City Rho chapter and is also an alumnus of Civic House, serving as a mentor to current freshman scholars. These experiences have pushed Rob professionally and academically beyond the classroom, broadening his knowledge and developing a stronger sense of self and drive in all aspects.Rob is eager to enter the workforce as a government affairs/legislative affairs/policy analyst and enroll in law school upon completion of his undergraduate degree. He hopes to eventually pursue a career as a regulatory attorney, focusing on policy areas including telecom, energy, transportation, and financial services.
