The goal of Best Buddies is to create one-to-one friendships between individuals living with intellectual or developmental disabilities with other members of the community..I was one of the co-founders for the Best Buddies chapter at King's University College where I took on the position of Vice President of Finance. On top of helping with the planning and execution of events, my formal responsibilities consisted of keeping track of all financial and police check records and ensuring that we have enough cash flow to run our events.

Operation Smile is a charity organization that provides free surgeries to children around the world who endure the hardships of life with a facial deformity. As President for the Western chapter, I have the privilege of leading a team where we promote an open environment to come up with innovative ideas to raise money and awareness for Operation Smile. In my first year being involved, I initiated a partnership with King's Kids Club to host bakes sales resulting in total profits of $1,600 to date.
