I completed a BA and a MFA in creative and professional writing at Manhattanville College, and worked for over 10 years at Wellesley Books as a frontline bookseller and School Liaison. In 2021 I moved to Portland, Maine to work at Print: A Bookstore as their Social Media Manager and Event Coordinator where I honed my skills as an engaging communicator and networked within the bookselling and publishing industries. As an Event Coordinator I had my hands on almost every facet of the business. I pitched events to publishers, contacted local venues, discussed scheduling with publicists, wrote introductions for events, and facilitated signing lines at events. I have recently taken part in the ABA's Indies Introduce program and have been writing freelance for publications such as Polygon, Lithub, and TOR/Reactor for over a year.I am actively looking for remote employment in an editorial or publicity position where I will be able to apply my passions and previous experiences, and will be able to further expand my knowledge of the publishing industry.
