2001 -TNA/MoReq standards were just emerging. Appointed to Objective Corporation (UK) Ltd. in their inaugural year in the UK to gain rapid traction in the market. Developed and delivered a business development strategy that captured a client base for ECM within a wide range of markets including: construction, justice, and central Government.

As the uses for smart cards evolved Gemplus was an amazing, visionary and inspirational workplace. As a Business Manager and Account Manager I had the pleasure of working with thought leaders and technical wizards on some of the most groundbreaking applications of their time. In my role I promoted the vision of how cards and terminals could be used within the telecommunications, loyalty and retail, Government and commercial card sectors. Then helped telcos such as Orange and large organisations like Shell to comericalise these applications with end-to-end solutions. When SMS was just being adopted I worked with Orange to deliver and launch the first SMS on demand application – it sounds crazy now that sending jokes, lottery and football results to mobile phones upon request by SMS was so mind blowing, but the areas of WAP, bluetooth and 3G were just in their infancy, smart devices were conceptual. Within the Government sector I worked within a consortium working on the use of smart cards within Connexions. In Loyalty and Retail I managed the Shell smart card account, Johnson’s Dry Cleaners, Rotch Properties and many others, working with partners and VARS to deliver high volumes of both cards and personalisation to the market for major campaign launches.

Established a Regional Office and sales team for Helen Sheane Wallcoverings, specialising in contract wallcoverings and designer fabrics for the architectural and design industry.
