- Supported families involved with the El Paso County Department of Human Services towards reunification and family preservation through in-home, therapeutic services- Helped families develop communication and coping skills to form/maintain healthy relationships- Educated parents in child development, holistic care and how to appropriately and safely respond to difficult/aggressive behaviors - Created safety plans with care and patience with children who were in a mental health crisis, such as experiencing suicide ideation, being violent towards others or running away from home

-Taught 5 different levels of ESL classes for Iraqi refugees-Led a holistic course for young elementary students from Iraq to help improve their English skills-Created therapeutic opportunities for refugee children and adults to process past experiences and express internal struggles
