My self-discovery journey has taken my on some exciting adventures (e.g. dancer at Walt Disney World™, talent showcase host, rural postal carrier, entrepreneur). For over 10 years, I held a real estate license leading the operation of my own real company . While in the real estate industry, I learned the importance of self-promotion, accurate comparative market analysis, client prospecting and product marketing (especially niche marketing in a competitive field). As a Realtor™, I was a member of the Million Dollar Club™ and received various company honors i.e., Salesman of the Month.Recognizing changes in the real property industry, I decided to venture on a different path working as a flight attendant. In my new role, I continue to use my customer relations skills developed while a real estate broker. Enterprisingly, I performed both careers for a few years. Subsequently, as a full-time flight attendant, I received a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt designation. Consequently, as a member of an inflight strategic team, I was instrumental, in the airline of my employ, obtaining Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification for a highly-demanded flight route . Moreover, I engaged as a trainer (facilitating classes for a new aircraft configuration integrating into the airline fleet) and an inflight recurrent instructor (ensuring inflight team members maintain required FAA inflight certification requirements). Honors received as a flight attendant include, Outstanding Crew Member, Flight Attendant of the Quarter and Perfect Attendance recognition.Still working as a flight attendant, I am a full-time student at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas pursuing of a Bachelor of Arts - Film and Bachelor of Science and Business Administration - Real Estate minor in Marketing. Academically, I am on the Dean's List and currently have a 3.89 GPA. As a film theorist, I earned the Wegner Award for Film Studies Award of Excellence. Additionally, as a student documentary filmmaker, my team was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - Pacific Southwest Region winning an Emmy, for which I had roles as a writer, producer and voice actor.Excitingly, I am looking forward to my return to the real estate industry as a builder/developer. Furthermore, my skills as a marketer now include, but are not limited to, the knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), conversion rate optimization, keyword research, value propositions and Shopify™ design; all of which will help catapult my success in any industry I choose to excel!
