• Support the Assistant Secretary of Air Force, Financial Management and Comptroller (SAF/FM) in the initiative to improve financial accountability across the Department of Defense (DoD), and the United States Air Force (USAF) to achieve an auditable financial system by re-engineering and standardizing the (LOA) line of accounting and financial business processes to ensure accurate accounting transactions, improve interoperability between systems, traceability and linkage between budget and expenditures in accordance with Treasury reporting requirements. • Analyzing, data mapping to ensure standard formats for SFIS (Standard Financial Information Structure) elements, values including sending, receiving processing and analysis by interface systems, in support of financial improvement and audit readiness for the purpose of decreasing cost and inefficiencies of converting data from the legacy to SFIS format and ensure systems become SFIS compliant in a timely manner.

Providing support to National Center for Telehealth & Technology (T2), Defense Center of Excellence and the Military Healthcare environment. Identifying cost associated with conducting Tele-Health and Tele-Behavioral Health within the military treatment facilities and non-government agencies. Assist in the development of an integrated DoD telehealth system to increase access to care through information and telecommunication technologies to successfully integrate telehealth into the overall DoD health services system

Support the United States Air Force (SAF/CIO A6) Warfighter Integration Decision Support (WFI-DST) team, overseeing and monitoring all SAF/CIO A6 responsibilities associated with the operational capabilities and Warfighting requirements process. Research, analyze and develop options to migrate all authoritative data associated with the Decision Support Tool for information and managerial decision making, analyze and document current connectivity between DST and the authoritative data sources.Develop migration plans to migrate the authoritative data from Excel spreadsheets to a data warehouse.Assist with the development, configuration and implementation of an Air Force database to store data from automated feeds and maintain version control.I conduct WFI DST data set operational validations for traceability of all identified relationships and dependencies to the authoritative data sources,advise and assist in the development of concepts to support transformation to an information sharing environment that implements the AF Strategic vision.I prepare and submit briefs and operational status reports to management on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.

As an Analyst, I conducted Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) analyses, using DoD and Military Health Service (MHS) systems. Performed M2/Business Objects 5.1 ad hoc queries/data mining pertaining to annual/multi-year fiscal/program planning, implemented my findings and recommendations on organizational improvement and program effectiveness. Supported the TRICARE Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) in the Management Control & Financial Studies Directorate (MC&FS) Medical Expense Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) program; served as the functional proponent for MEPRS through the MEPRS Management Improvement Group (MMIG); providing functional oversight for the DOD MEPRS program. My responsibilities included the development, implementation and management of MEPRS policies, procedures and business practices; and integrating the collection, processing and reporting of standard workload, financial, and labor costs in the Expense Assignment System (EAS). I conducted special analysis studies and provides administrative support for the upkeep of the DoD MEPRS policy manual, ultimately supporting Defense Healthcare Programs (DHP) and systems to include cost implication analyses of changes to the health benefit structure. I prepared financial and quantitative analysis data extracted from DHP data systems such as EAS IV Repository, and other Department of Defense data systems, and assisted with leading the annual Expense Assignment System (EAS) financial table’s updates, and evaluations on system change requests (SCRs).
