Working alongside my own business I opened a newly built Residential development of 125 luxury apartments managing luxury living for Residents, Influencers, and Premier League Footballers. I started working for FHP Living and now I work for Encore Estates. I was recruited before Residents moved in, I completed handovers with all leaseholders and managed an intense list of snagging for the developers. Now I have the overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the building, liaising with contractors, and agents, assisting with residential queries and Health and Safety.

Currently managing the day to day running of the newly built Residential development of 125 luxury apartments, completing handovers with new Residents and tenants and co- ordinating snagging with the developers. Overall responsible for Building management and maintenance, liaising with contractors and assisting with any resident queries.

Manage closely the day-to-day operation and relationship with owners and Management company. Responsible for reviewing weekly forecasts and daily wage control. Guest satisfaction, Health and Safety/compliance. Preparing and attending Business review meetings.

Managed the Radisson Blu East Midlands Airport, 218 Bedroom hotel with meeting space up to 400 guests and Leisure facilities. The Hotels strategy was to target high end residential conference business, and Park and Fly being the focus during the summer. Budgeted Turnover of 8 Million pound. My focuses were to maintain quality and Standards to maintain the GSI score of 90% and above whilst hotels in the competitor set completed full refurbishments. Responsible ensuring the hotel was legal in terms of day-to-day Health and Safety, plus a large part of this role included, HR Management due to the Hotel being independently ran.

Commenced employment here during the final stages of a 3.1-million-pound refurbishment. Hotel consisted of 210 Bedrooms, 20 Meeting rooms with the maximum capacity of 400 in the main room. 6500 Covers for the Christmas Party season. Budgeted turnover of 7-million-pound. I was recruited for my expertise to lead and develop a team of managers and to make the appropriate people changes to ensure all KPI’s were achieved of which 6/7 winning metrics were achieved during my time working here.

Commenced Park Plaza Hotels as Front Office Manager and received multiple promotions within my time here, such as Rooms Divisions Manager, Operations Manager and Interim General Manager. The Hotel operated M&E Facilities up to 230 with 178 bedrooms, plus two concept Restaurants, Oaks Restaurant and Chino Latino Restaurant (2 AA rosette) Budgeted turnover was 6 Million pounds for the entire property. I spent 15 years of my career here, managing all aspects of the Hotel including direction of HR and driving employee engagement across the hotel. I treasured every moment working for Park Plaza, I was a trainer for the Brand and regularly spent time in London as an ambassador for the company focusing on service delivery and development of new staff as the Hotel Brand grew from strength to strength. As Operations Manager I closely managed P&L accounts, completed weekly Call overs to head office and I prepared Monthly Business Review meetings Presenting these meetings to the Regional Management team in the absence of the GM.

Started working for Park Plaza Hotels as Front Office Manager and was promoted to Rooms Division Manager. I managed the TUPE of agency Housekeeping Staff to Park Plaza. Effectively re organised and set up the Housekeeping department to produce a more efficient, proactive department. Directed and supported the Head Housekeeper with the transition of the team and to raise standards. The aim was to increase overall guest Satisfaction and increase the overall room’s profit. Included in this role I was also responsible for managing the Front Office Manager and working closely with the Revenue department directing new procedures to create a flawless communication between all departments.
