Local non-profit delivering free care supplies to cancer patients at home to prevent malnutrition, infections and injuries. In charge of writing grant proposals and letters of intent (LOI), as well as researching new grant opportunities in order to secure funds from corporations and foundations.

During my internship, I generated recommendations for a hyper local corporate social responsibility strategy for offices around the country. Work for this project included gathering research from online sources, internal data sources including Cyber Grants, and employee interviews and culminated as a final written and oral presentation to senior executives. I assisted in planning a large scale activation booth for the upcoming Girl Scouts Nation's Capital Expo by creating a run-of-show and research on previous successful kid-focused STEM booths. In addition, I assisted in implementing a new collaboration project with Girl Scouts Nation's Capital by planning a multi-day event to provide Girl Scouts an opportunity to earn STEM badges while learning from Booz Allen employees. Lastly, in collaboration with fellow interns, we created recommendations for marketing artificial intelligence. I was responsible for the CSR (AI for Social Good) aspect of the proposal.
