After the tragic loss of my 2 year old nephew in December 2013 I felt that an urgency to take a divine idea that had been in me since I graduated beauty school in 2006. The concept of volunteering in the beauty industry is not new, what has been lacking is a connection between those in need to the professionals with the desire to give back. That's where The Beyond Project was formed out of a solution to both the nonprofit agencies needing support for the individuals they serve and those that want to share this with them. Philanthropy is what drives my heart and life. I want to take every opportunity to give back to those all around us. I have volunteered over the year for many organizations, such as Big Brother Big Sister, Dress for Success, Salvation Army, and many more. Justice and Soul Foundation that is giving hope and restoration to those at risk and survivors of human trafficking here in Seattle and Cambodia. I was Event Chair for the 2nd Annual annual fundraiser Fashion SOULstice.
