As a committed investor of people and programs, I thrive in creative roles that need written communication, collaborative problem solving, and expressive teamwork to create effective learning experiences. Growing up, I was a natural tutor. I loved helping my siblings learn everything from multiplication tables to how to ask a girl on date. For me, their journey of progress and growth mattered as much as the result. This love has transferred into a passion for learning experiences in the real world. Currently, I am with BYU’s Office of First-Year Student Experience. In my role as a Student Experience Specialist, I’ve led a focus group piloting new university course curriculum and gathered data on 54 students, resulting in enhanced curriculum and objectives met. This has taught me the value of a growth mindset, intentional design, and being goal-driven. I’m passionate about making transformational learning experiences happen through the design, delivery, and management of those experiences, to foster growth and human-flourishing.
