Having graduated from University of Leeds with a politics degree, I am now currently studying a PGDL and LLM Legal Practice degree at BPP Law School to obtain my law qualifications and begin my law career path. Having done prior work experience at Miah Solicitors, I have a good understanding of the work that the Law field requires and I am very excited to enter the field. Furthermore, having studied the political field since A-Level, it has given me a good understanding of the work required and also ensured that I would be able to adapt to fully working within the field full time. Having gained a degree during the Pandemic where my studies, as well as everyone else studying at the time, were being constantly disrupted only taught me how to further adapt to significant situational changes and proceed to complete my degree obtaining a Upper Second Class honours from a Russel Group University.Regarding work experience, I gained customer service experience by working at the Apple store in Leeds from the age of 17 while simultaneously doing my A-Levels which allowed me to improve my ability to multitask and balance multiple actions in my life. Following the completion of my A-Levels, I began working at Telefonica O2 (now Virgin O2) and have continued to do so whilst completing my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Having worked here for 4 years, I have gained significant experience in how to sell contracts whilst effectively complying with FCA. Being a senior member of staff, I have also learnt how to assist and train my colleagues in areas they struggle with, along with giving them advice and peer reviewing them. I am greatly looking forward to the completion of my postgraduate degree in Law and properly starting my path in the Law and Political career path.
