I am an ambitious Manufacturing Engineering graduate currently working at Jaguar Land Rover as a Prototype Powertrain Engineer. Currently supporting the build of Prototype EDUs for both MLA and EMA platforms. Working at Schneider Electric allowed me to gain a greater understanding of the Energy sector through my work with Electrical Switchgear, whilst also bolstering my knowledge and skills relating to the Manufacture and Quality Control of Engineered to Order (ETO) products.Activities were also related to Technology and the Digital Transformation of the Leeds Plant which included digitising much of the existing systems for Traceability purposes and also investigating the possibility of using cutting-edge solutions, such as Augmented Reality (AR), to aid with operator training and operations on the shop floor.My passion lies in the Automotive sector where I acquired comprehensive knowledge of various engineering principles in an Automotive context such as LEAN, Industry 4.0 and Quality Assurance through the completion of 7 Industrial Projects at the award winning Institute for Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering (AME). Hence, I have gained hands-on industrial experience throughout my studies and have gained strong project management skills by managing these projects when working alongside Unipart Manufacturing Group and ZF Group. Across the multiple projects and work, activities relating to roles such as Mechanical Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering have broadened my knowledge and skillset across multiple sectors and taking a pro-active stance means I have been learning at home to explore areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Python, and SQL.
