In my current professional association, I co-owned the responsibility of operating CNC while ensuring adherence to established protocols. I used SigmaNEST for the programming of punching and waterjet machine. I collated and calculated data based on Bend deduction, flattened length, and waterjet hole size and shape. I work in close coordination with experienced engineering teams and project managers to create drawings and parts that assist our manufacturing processes. I provide support in implementing solutions in both build methods and hardware to redress problems. I also create detailed working diagrams of playground equipment as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Along with this, I drive quality control inspections to detect fabrication errors/problems.

As the Mechanical Designer, I developed machine floor Plant layout in (2D/3D) using W, I beams and weldments, etc. I was also involved in planning of production and manufacturing modules along with preparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and details. Furthermore, I drove modification in the designs of non-standard products to bring them in par with defined requirements. I developed solutions based on customer needs, human resource allocation and budgeting requirements. My deliverables included conceptualizing design concepts, parts rendering, quotation and bill of materials for parts fabrication while ensuring superior quality delivery by technicians.

During my first professional pursuits, I led custom design projects based on pneumatic systems, sheet metal parts and 3D models using SolidWork with a focus on ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. I deployed reverse engineering in the existing Machines to devise 3D model with high accuracy based on electrical cabinet, structure and outer cover in Inventor or SolidworksFurthermore, I drove detailed engineering design encompassing plastic, sheet metal, machining, extrusion components, beam structures while designing solutions using linear pneumatic cylinders, servo drive systems, induction motors, robots, pneumatic grippers, etc.During this period, I worked in close coordination with marketing and product design department to troubleshoot issues like manufacturability, function, installation, compatibility and preventive maintenance etc. I used SolidWorks & AutoCAD for concept design, component design and detail, the general assembly of machines and plant layout for machine allocation on the floor.Some of the key contributions included • Redesigned existing machine by replacing 4 axis robots with simple pneumatic system, saving thousands of dollars per machine for the company • Won several Employee of the Month Awards for showcasing exemplary performance• Was successful in designing Special Purpose Machines mainly based on Robotic arms for different FMCG and Automotive companies.
