Scrutinize the purchase requisitions received from indenter/stores.• Preparation of RFA as per project requirement with complete specifications.• Formulating vendor qualification criteria in consultation with the indenters.• Identification and registration of vendor as per approved vendor qualificationcriteria.• Floating of RFQ to approved vendors.• Independently and self – responsibly prepare and conduct procurementnegotiations for prices, terms and conditions for supply payment and concludeagreements.• Resources development, vendor development, negotiation creation and issue ofcommercial purchase/work orders.• Preparation of comparative statements, approval notes and getting approval fromconcerned authorities.• Preparation of purchase order in ERP module.• Follow up with the internal departments and external suppliers till the purchasecycle completes.• Vendor development, vendor evaluation and rating.• Reporting indent status to the authorities.• Review daily shipment exceptions and resolve with service providers to ensuretimely flow of freight.• Work closely with service providers to gather shipment details, resolve problemsor streamline processes.• Ascertain that up to date profiles and SOPs are provided to all endorsed serviceproviders to ensure proper import and export clearance.
