When that was very successful, I was asked to manage inbound marketing growth all B2B sites using editorial content as the key driver. Ziff Davis is a collection of several sites, my focus area are the B2B sites such as Toolbox.com, Spiceworks.com, HRTechnologist.com and MarTechAdvisor.com (and partly a few more).With editorial content as the key driver, I fully manage the inbound content marketing strategy, for the 4 sites highlighted. I have 4 direct reportees (Editors and sr. Editors) and 12 indirect (writers who report to the editors).A large part of my work has been in content planning, training and work allocation, so as to grow the search traffic, primary from Google Search and Google News. For example, if you Google any of the following terms - linux Firewall, firewall hardware, threat modelling tools, fraud detection (and 800 more such keywords across HR, Tech and marketing), you will find toolbox.com ranking in top 5, some at #1 itself. Our news content also periodically ranks for news keywords within that cycle.I am also responsible for highlighting any site issues that come up. I took up this role voluntarily and have delivered by informing respective IT teams on major site issues that would have otherwise gone unnoticed for days.
