Science and Technology Council is a student body in Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi that provide a platform for experimentation and learning to technology enthusiastic student. Student from different stream work together to make robots, car engines, quad-copters and many more interesting objects.As a Joint Secretary, I managed allocation of INR 10 Lac for the purchase of various equipments including Telescope and Modules. I was able to generate more interest among student to learn about new technology by providing them various equipments for live experiments. I lead a 3 tier team of 7 clubs with 21 core group members and 90 students volunteer to coordinate all the activities of council throughout the year

Startup Weekend, an non profit organisation powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, provides a platform where startup enthusiasts work for continuous 54 hours to transform their business idea into viable product.Varanasi was the first city to host Startup Weekend in Uttar Pradesh. It wasn't an event but a crucial step in establishing a community for local entrepreneurs and giving them opportunity to connect with proficient mentors.As Event Coordinator, I led the team of 10 members across the fields like Marketing, Public Relation and Event Management. This event witnessed 10 coaches, 100+ participation and venture partners like Microsoft and Palaash Ventures. Overall this event was a great success with highest number of pitches all across India.
