With the growth in the area of Direct to Consumer business for ITC brands, I have the mandate to evolve the various touch points where the consumers experience our brands, directly. I will be responsible for growing the ITC E Commerce business, transforming the Brand Activation function so we are more phygital, devising and deploying marketing communication to the right target audience efficiently, leveraging fixed and fluid moments for marketing across social channels and so on. The job requires me to own all the brand and business KPIs - Awareness, Sales, RoAS, Growth of Markets and Consumers as well as Profitability.

ITC Data and Digital is a strategic program to drive consumer engagement utilizing best in class social and data driven marketing technologies. To leverage data and engaging content as a key differentiators for ITC brands for gaining consumer preference, enhancing market share and impacting profitability are the fundamental tenets of the program. My mandate includes technology and vendor selection, setting up the process, hiring the team - basically setting up the entire capability from the scratch and then deliver revenue and profit goals for ITC brands. In short, I am responsible for the Digital Transformation of marketing function at ITC group.

I set up the business consulting practice for Fashion Retail PLM from the scratch in 2010 and ultimately had the world's largest pool of consultants from various nationalities serving large MNCs at multiple global locations. The consulting practice gave several cutting edge solutions to the Fashion PLM industry and became a brand to reckon with in the process. Starting from just a couple of million USD, the fashion PLM business grew more than 10 times its original size contributing very healthy margins to company's bottom line.

As a Category manager I was responsible for running the Lifestyle categories for 24 stores under the Choupal Saagar Hypermarket format.

I was Heading the Hardgoods division as a Merchandise Manager .I was responsible for sourcing of everything that can be termed Hardlines with the exception of Textiles.My key performance objectives were to increase the sourcing volume and flawless execution on Quality and Delivery fronts.The business of Hardlines at WMGP India grew from a level of just $ 3 million $ to 40 million in 4.5 years.
