I also managed the overall roll up approval process for salary determination, annual incentive plan (AIP), and long-term incentive (LTI) awards of senior management and executives by the Executive Personnel Development Committee (PDC), including data analytics and Committee material preparation. My other role on projects and planning involved managing key HR project & planning activities that are coordinated at the HQ level, such as timely and accurate reporting of the HR budget and business planning, and coordination of the leadership program nomination process. I was also involved in data analytics for the Executive PDC on various metrics and reviews, and played a key role in developing a process that enabled a more robust and methodical identification of employees for the Chevron leadership pipeline and succession management

I moved within 3 different roles while I was with the Exec Comp Group:1) As an Executive Compensation advisor, I facilitated the process for the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) and the Annual Incentive Plan for the Chevron officer and executive population, which was approximately over 4,000 employees in the U.S. and globally. Work included stakeholder engagements and training with HR contacts, assistance to the Exec Comp Manager on grant level determination for the non-US population, participation in executive reward surveys, data analysis, and material preparation for the Management Compensation Committee (MCC), Board of Director’s review and approval.2) As the Stock Plan Administrator, I managed stock options/awards administration such as reconciling issuance from Treasury shares, and performing SOX mandated assessments, including audits of exercise, tax, swap reports and restoration grants, among others. Helped managed vendor service delivery for global equity plans, including payments, grants, tax withholding, communications, and escalations. 3) As an Executive Compensation Counselor, I was responsible for providing counsel to senior management/ executives, outside financial advisors, and HR BPs on Chevron executive plan benefits, including the LTI, restoration and deferred compensation plans. I was involved in external reporting, including preparation and review of data and notes required in the annual proxy statement. I also served as the key vendor liaison and managed vendor service delivery, specifically for the restoration plan and the financial counseling program for executives, and reviewed computation of retirement values, taxes, payments, and case escalations. I prepared retirement benefit analysis of key Chevron executives for the MCC of the Board of Directors.My role required for me to keep abreast with fast changing regulations and requirements that may impact executive compensation administration, such as 409A, Dodd Frank Act, and 280G.
