-Document processing & validation of IRS Forms W-8IMY, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8EXP, W-8ECI, W-9, withholding statements to ensure compliance with Chapter 3, Chapter 4, and Chapter 61 of the Internal Revenue Code and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).-Updating allocation breakdowns to apply new blended withholding rate when clients' income allocations to subinvestors has changed in order to ensure proper withholding and reporting for 1099 & 1042s.-Work with various business units within the Institutional Securities Group (Prime Brokerage, Collateral, Syndicated Loans/LoanIQ, Fixed Income, Commodities, etc) to ensure clients are properly documented for tax purposes.-Ensure the firm proactively identifies and addresses potential documentation issues via the Change in Circumstance process by manually reviewing documentation and comparing it to updated AML/KYC data.-Work with internal and external firm clients to reconcile and resolve trade settlement issues related to tax withholding.-Assist in user testing of applications and develop new solutions to reduce manual processes.

--Invoicing clients, totaling around $5-10 million annually.--Create and present financial statements to ownership and C-level executives.--Supervise team of 2-3 employees that perform A/R, A/P functions--Property Tax (Utah & Nevada), Personal Property Tax (Utah & Nevada), Commerce Tax (Nevada), Modified Business Tax (Nevada), Sales & Use Tax (Utah & Nevada)--Business License renewals, contractor license renewals processing (Utah & Nevada)--Full-cycle payroll, including garnishment processing--Create/Maintain/Process Subcontractor Agreements--Began as a Hazmat Technician, with experience in emergency response spill cleanup and environmental report writing. Additional experience in Human Resources--on-boarding, off-boarding, recruiting, compliance (including E-Verify, ACA, and others), personnel records, maintaining training files, medical files, drug & alcohol screen files, DOT drivers' files, etc.--Experience also includes: customer service, collections, purchase orders, estimates, training other employees, and delivering financial and operational reports to ownership/management.
