My name is Randolph N Perkins and I am originally from Memphis, TN. I am a Sophmore(2027) enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, studying Political Science (International Affairs) with a minor in English. I am actively searching and open to internships focusing in Law. In addition, I am extremely passionate about political justice and equality. I have always been a strategic person and being able to think on the fly is one of my strengths. I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated student, finding new things to be excited about within my studies each day. I am always looking to gain experience and learn from peers and faculty. While only in my first year, I have already gotten involved on campus in organizations such as Brothers United for Excellence, the Multicultural Mentor Program, North Carrick Hall Council(Secretary), UT Success Academy, Minority Enhancement for UT and the UTK Student Ambassadors. I have experience in mentorship, organizational skills, oral communication (public speaking and conflict resolution), research, writing, and policy leadership. I have served in several leadership positions in jobs and volunteer experiences. From this, I am an equipped and open-minded leader, ready to take on any task that comes my way. I hope to develop these skills further throughout my college career as I take on internships and higher organizational leadership positions.My career goal is to work in the Law field, either in corporate, patent, or international law.
