After a rewarding career as a Marine, I've spent the last decade learning and growing in the field of Organizational Leadership and Business Management. I have Led and developed strategic plans and oversaw the management for various programs continuously evaluating the effectiveness of those programs and recommended changes. I was able to increased program participation and program effectiveness measurably in subsequent years through collaboration, community involvement and the use of Continued Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma Certified BB). I would like to assist new leaders grow in their leadership capabilities while building strong teams. I seek to utilize Servant Leadership and Strength-Based Leadership ideology to help new leaders understand the value and importance of authentic leadership. I have held the position of Sergeant Major for one of the most strategically significant Marine Corps Installation in Japan. Developed and implemented a successful strategic plan with performance assessment metrics. Forged a coalition among a diverse community of over 6000 individuals comprising military personnel, civilian employees, U.S. family members, and Japanese nationals effecting ‘buy-in’ and participation in the organization and community, successfully achieving mission objectives.
