• Oversee the onboarding for all new hires in the Central West region of Memorial Hermann.• Serve as a resource to new hires throughout the onboarding process.• Utilize Workday to process new hire information and enter employment changes.• Conduct the onboarding for the summer and fall cohorts of new graduate nurses.• Review the experience, education, certifications and qualifications of selected candidates to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements for their positions. • Monitor background investigations and occupational health appointments for completion.• Maintain regular reports on new hire onboarding progress for review by senior HR management.• Correspond with hiring managers and educators to determine their needs for personnel and orientations.• Enroll new hires into required trainings and orientations.• Verify new hire I-9 documents in compliance with federal employment laws.• Assist in facilitating the weekly Culture Day orientation processing up to 250 employees.• Participate in regular PwC Workday optimization testing in order to interact with new configurations, troubleshoot issues, and observe the impacts to end users.
