Oversaw all aspects of the business from product development to sales and client support. Hired a talented team that helped develop and grow a visual-rich, interactive, real-time energy market data, news and analytics service that quickly displaced the long-established incumbent provider at many of the major energy companies. The service provides regional, sub-regional and meter-level analytics and short- and long-term forecasts for all regions in North America. It also offers granular, sub-regional analysis and forecasts for oil and NGL supply, as well as real-time news and a dozen daily and weekly regional and sector reports.Negotiated and managed a number of data redistribution agreements. Served on the OPIS Senior Leadership Team.

Launched the EnergyHubs business starting with TransmissionHub in October 2011 and then GenerationHub in April 2012. Each Hub is an online, interactive intelligence service that seamlessly integrates editorial, analysis and research with related data, project and asset profiles, digital mapping and documents. Managed all aspects of the business including team and content management, sales, client support, marketing and product development. Also launched a suite of power generation asset, infrastructure and retirement databases, the Coal Insider weekly report and a series of successful conferences in the transmission space that, in their first year, became the largest regional annual events for power transmission executives.Both Hubs quickly became leaders in their respective sectors and were acquired by Pennwell, now Endeavor Business Media.

Was with SNL Financial prior to it merging with S&P in 2015 to become S&P Global Market Intelligence. Sold Io Energy to SNL Financial in September 2004 to create SNL Energy. It combined Io Energy's news, analysis, and data on power and gas markets and operations with SNL Financial's financial data.In the six years as co-director of SNL Energy, grew the business into the leading provider of news, data, and trend analysis for the energy industry and, in that time, grew revenue from $2.5 million to $27 million. Launched new company and industry coverage of the natural gas, coal, renewables and environmental sectors, plus new specialized price indexes that became the settlement for CME futures contracts. Managed the energy content teams plus the inside sales team. Was instrumental in client support and sales. Developed and managed a number of content and marketing partnerships.Served on the Senior Leadership Team.

Launched Io Energy when the S&P acquisition of Financial Times Energy created an opportunity for a new energy market intelligence provider. Within two years built Io Energy into a leading provider of intraday, daily and weekly information and analysis on power and gas commodity markets, generation and transmission capacity markets and power industry operations from source to sink. Launched two intraday, three daily and seven weekly market intelligence reports. Each provided expert analysis, proprietary daily, monthly and forward price indexes and market commentary, along with sector-specific data on assets, projects, operations and financials. Despite the failings of many energy trading customers post-Enron, Io Energy was serving midday, daily or weekly market intelligence to more than 1,500 energy client companies by the end of its second year.

FT Energy was the global leader for intelligence on power, renewables, natural gas and coal. Managed more than 25 leading energy news and commodity pricing products and 70 reporters and analysts in five offices on four continents.North American products included leading energy sector newsletters Gas Daily, Megawatt Daily and Coal Outlook, plus Energy Insight, an online service that provided daily analytics derived from FT Energy data. Launched Gas Daily Europe and greatly accelerated the growth of European and Asian products.In 1996, launched Megawatt Daily and a series of regional power market conferences. In 1995, launched PowerMart, a large power trading tradeshow held at the Astrodome that was attended by 3,000 traders each year before it was acquired by Platts.
