With 18 years of extensive experience in the Midrex process, I specialize in operations, equipment management, and process safety. My career highlights include significant contributions to major projects such as the commissioning of Qatar Steel’s DR-2 module, the world’s first Midrex dual discharge mega module. I have also played a pivotal role in the recommissioning of both DR modules, Refractory relining Reduction Furnaces, Reformer tubes and catalyst replacement and upgrading operating system to DCS.Additionally, I have led automation projects across both DR modules, ensuring enhanced efficiency and safety. My expertise extends to preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, as well as managing shutdown preparations, including raising RFQs, estimating refractory materials and services, arranging resources such as manpower and equipment, and ensuring all activities are executed safely and on time.
