 Preparing & maintaining statutory books of accounts and reconciliation of financial statements, payroll in compliance with the norms as well as ensuring smooth operations of banking process. Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by way of timely preparation of annual reports ensuring analysing the expenditure on a monthly basis to control expenses Overseeing advance controls for advance payments & following up with purchaser, cost centre wise consumption & analysis with average consumption Punch entries in ERP system pertaining to payment Vouchers, Petty cash & purchase checking and approval, Cheque printing and checking to ERP systematic. Following up of bills receivables after invoicing to debtors, conducting ageing analysis with an aim to keep receivables under control Ensuring that all payments are made to suppliers within the stipulated timeframe and managing accounts payable within the pre-set parameters Accountable for preparing monthly Revenue Accrual schedule and providing accrual entries on month close. Preparation of Prepaid Expense schedule and monthly amortization entries. Engage in timely bank reconciliation. Assist in the internal audit of the company including setting up of internal audit systems as well as monitoring of the implementation of the systems Finalizing Costing and Inventory control and checking on a monthly basis. Enhancing operational efficiency through implementation of various process improvement initiatives including participation in ERP deployment programs.. Formulating operating budgets, conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected figures & actual expenditure and implementing corrective actions. Document all accounting processes and procedures ensuring compliance with company guidelines; monitor and review all documents related to budgets, revenues, expenses, invoices, accounting etc.
