As an Enterprise Business Development Representative at Mendix, I contributed to a team that help's organizations get exposure to a platform that can accelerate their digital transformation initiatives. Our team took a very personalized approach to crafting relevant messaging to our potential clients and engaging in conversations to help these clients solve big business problems. After 1.5 years with the business development team, I’ve been promoted to the Partner Sales team, focused on selling to organizations across every industry that fall under $750m in revenue. Myself, along with a few of my good friends and colleagues, were chosen to build this organization from the ground up. Our team’s strategic focus is to exclusively sell with our channel partners in this market segment to help grow our partner ecosystem and the Mendix name. This role tests my general sales ability through a high volume of discovery calls, in addition to project management, organization, presentation and collaboration skills as deals progress to close.
