• Manage the projected profit and loss account of the department. Responsible for the achievement of the global budget of the department respecting sales, margins, shrinkage, staff cost and the overall sections of the.
• Monitor stocks, stock movement, and stock ageing, ordering procedure and ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space.
• Ensure the merchandise mix, range and price in the department is attractive, competitive and profitable.
• Identify and source new product mix and range and ensure their promotion, sales and profitability on ongoing basis.
• Ensures all sections within the department are neat, tidy and the merchandise are properly displayed and labeled as per the department merchandise plan.
• Ensure the space allocation and layout among all sections is appropriate and all shelves, racking, gondolas and other assets allocated for the department are accounted for as well as maintained and stored properly.

• Maintaining the close liaison with Suppliers for ordering and receiving the stocks.
